“Firstly I would say I was very skeptical about going to an alternative therapy, some things are usually too good to be true. I am a keen runner and as I’ve gotten older I had been suffering with niggly pains in all of my joints and muscles on the right side of my body. I was recommended Bowen by a friend, so thought I would look into it. Claire never once told me she could cure me, which was a little confusing as why go to if you cannot be cured? She only ever said she could help my body cure itself. This was a different tact that I hadn’t considered before, so I decided to go ahead with the treatment. The first session I felt like what, if anything is Claire doing? So was still unsure of what to expect. By the 3rd session I started to see results, not massive, but my ankles, knees and hips were not hurting continuously. Now was this down to Claire or me? After my 4th session I had a break and over the next 3 months, before I saw Claire again, I felt as though my insides had been cleansed and the pains in my lower joints and muscles were working their way up my body and out. Claire had found that a lot of my issues were down to imbalance, with my right side slightly shorter than my left, but this is slowly improving using no medication and no other assistance, just myself and Claire working on key tissues, muscles and tendons. I don’t know all the big words Claire uses but she only works the areas that need a little help to cure themselves. Personally now I would recommend this treatment, it has opened my eyes to alternative therapy and I would highly recommend a course of Bowen.”
